About the 11 plus
What is the 11 plus?
The 11 plus is an entrance exam used by UK grammar schools. It's used to assess whether grammar school will suit a child.
What subjects are covered?
Schools and consortiums choose their own 11 plus papers from a choice of English, maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
What is the pass mark?
Pass marks vary from school to school. Grammar schools usually select from the top 25% of the year group.
