There are six grammar schools and one partially-selective school in Berkshire. They’re split across Reading and Slough.

Monday 1st April 2024: Reading School 11+ registration opens
Wednesday 1st May 2024: Kendrick School 11+ registration opens
Friday 14th June 2024: Reading School 11+ registration closes
Monday 1st July 2024: Kendrick School 11+ registration closes
Saturday 31st August 2024: Reading School sporting aptitude test
Wednesday 4th September 2024: Reading School 11+ exam
Friday 20th September 2024: Kendrick School 11+ exam
Friday 27th September 2024: registration closes for the Reading Girls' School Selective Stream Test
Saturday 5th October 2024: Reading Girls’ School Selective Stream Test
Mid-October 2024: parents receive exam results
Thursday 31st October 2024: secondary school common application deadline
Monday 3rd March 2025: national school offers day
Slough
Langley Grammar School, Herschel Grammar School, St Bernard’s Catholic Grammar School and Upton Court Grammar School. These schools are all members of the Slough Consortium of Grammar Schools. They have the same 11 plus exam and key dates.
