There are two grammar schools in Reading – Reading School and Kendrick School.
Herschel Grammar School, Langley Grammar School, St Bernard’s Catholic Grammar School and Upton Court Grammar School all belong to the Slough Consortium of Grammar Schools and follow the same admissions process.

Wiltshire is home to two grammar schools: Bishop Wordsworth’s School (boys) and South Wilts Grammar School (girls). However, the two schools follow different admissions processes.

There are six grammar schools in Yorkshire across three separate Local Authorities:
West Yorkshire: Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale: The Crossley Heath School and North Halifax Grammar School
West Yorkshire: Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees: Heckmondwike Grammar School
North Yorkshire County Council: Ermysted’s Grammar School, Ripon Grammar School and Skipton Girls’ High School

6th April 2022: Exam registration opens for Ripon Grammar School
25th April 2022: Exam registration opens for Ermysted’s Grammar School
