The Slough Consortium 11 plus test is an exam used by state-funded grammar schools in the Slough area of Berkshire. It is used to assess:

The test is taken in September of Year 6.

St Bernard's Catholic Grammar School (boys and girls)

There is one entry test and process shared by all four Slough Consortium grammar schools.
Registration for the Slough Consortium 11 plus test is open online from 2nd May to 12th June 2022.
Registration is now closed for entering Year 7 in 2023.
The application process for Year 7 in 2024 will open in May 2023.
Key dates for the Slough Consortium 11 plus (this takes place while your child is in Year 6):
17th September 2022: Your child sits the test
Mid-October 2022: You will receive your child's 11 plus results
31st October 2022: Deadline for applying for school places (advised to wait for the 11 plus results before applying)
1st March 2023: You will find out which school has offered your child a place
A score of 111 or greater means that a pupil is eligible to be considered for a place at a Slough Consortium grammar school. However, if the school is oversubscribed, places will be offered according to the criteria set out in the individual school's admissions policy.
In 2021, there were approximately 15 candidates for every place at a Slough Consortium grammar school.
The Slough Consortium 11 plus test is administered by CEM (Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring). There are two papers which consist of a mix of four subjects:
