Algebra & Data
The Key Stage 2 maths curriculum introduces pupils to the language of algebra as a means for solving a variety of problems. By the end of Year 6, pupils should develop their ability to solve increasingly complex properties of numbers and arithmetic with problems demanding efficient written and mental calculation.

###Geometry & Measurement

###The Number System
The principal focus of maths teaching in Key Stage 2 is to ensure that pupils extend their previous understanding of the number system and become fluent in written methods for all four of the mathematical operations.
We help pupils practice the number system with lessons, worksheets, resources and activities that cover the core teachings of the number system, decimals and fractions, complex addition and subtraction, division and multiplication, factors, prime numbers, square and cube numbers, negative numbers and Roman numerals.
###Ratio & Proportion
Upon completion of the Key Stage 2 maths curriculum, pupils should be able to develop connections between multiplication and division with fractions, decimals, percentages and ratios.
