Rochester Grammar School: a parents' guide for 2023

Rochester Grammar School is a selective academy for girls aged 11–18 and boys aged 16–18 in Rochester, Kent. The school, commonly abbreviated to RGS, changed its name from Rochester Grammar School for Girls in 2006 after switching to a mixed sixth form. The school's most recent OFSTED report was 'Outstanding', noting that 'teaching and learning are outstanding in all years and support for students with learning difficulties and disabilities is excellent.'

In November 2010, the school became an 'Academy of Excellence' under the government's academy programme for outstanding schools. In June 2012, All Faiths' Children's Community School became an academy and formed a Multi-Academy Trust with the RGS, forming The Thinking Schools Academy Trust.
