The ISEB Common Pre-Test is an entrance exam provided by the Independent Schools Examination Board (ISEB). It's used by selective private senior schools to assess a child's academic potential and help decide whether they are likely to thrive at the school. Most schools use it for 11+ and/or 13+ entry.
Some schools use the ISEB Common Pre-Test as a first-round entrance exam, followed by their own test papers and an interview.
