Spalding High School is a selective grammar school for girls (with a co-educational sixth form) that prides itself on the strong sense of community among its pupils, and the special ‘feel’ as soon as you walk through the entrance.

Lincolnshire County Council is responsible for deciding which children to admit to Spalding HIgh School. If the number of qualifying applicants exceeds the 150 places available, the school’s Governing Body applies oversubscription criteria as per their admissions policy.
In 2020, the school had 317 applicants with 177 girls reaching the minimum score of 220 across both papers.
